The Rajasthan government has made a big announcement that on the occasion of ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Ram temple in Ayodhya, 22 January 2024 has been declared a holiday i.e. public holiday everywhere.
All the Ministers of our State Government have taken this decision and announced that a State Holiday will be declared by the Center for all Central Government offices, institutions, and industrial establishments across India to mark the consecration ceremony of Ram Temple. This comes a day after the announcement of ‘Day’. The decision of the Eknath Shinde-led government echoes the directions of the governments of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Goa, which have announced the closure of government offices and educational institutions in these states. Private sector banks will remain open determining the working days as per the holiday list of the Reserve Bank of India.
With limited invitees, the Ram temple will be inaugurated in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, other leaders, celebrities, and well-known personalities. Thousands of saints have been invited from across the country for the ceremony and the invitees also include families of laborers who constructed the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Preparations are in full swing in the temple city for the celebrations starting from January 16. Notably, the idol of Ram Lalla has been installed inside the sanctum sanctorum as part of the rituals for the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple.
Various state assemblies have circulated the opportunity to allow their workers to participate in the celebrations for the inauguration of the Ayodhya Ram Temple on January 22, 2024. Apart from this, the BJP government has given half-day notice for all government workplaces, and foundations. This means that public sector banks will remain closed for half a day. Apart from this, in some states, all banks will remain closed for the whole day.

Chattisgarh
The Chhattisgarh government has announced programs for all state government schools and colleges to commemorate the huge celebration in Ayodhya. That every one will have a holiday.
Uttar Pradesh
All organizational work environments and colleges will remain closed in the state. The state has likewise detailed a limit on the offer of meat and fish in the state on January 22. And this is where I am most happy.
Goa
Goa has declared a public event on 22 January. Manager priest Pramod Sawant has decided to keep the government working environment and schools closed.
Madhya Pradesh
Madhya Pradesh Supervisor Maulvi Mohan Yadav has announced the program for each organization’s office, Enlightening establishments in the state. Similarly, liquor shops will also remain closed throughout the day.
Haryana
The state has announced a public event in the state on January 22. All schools and government working environments in the state will also remain closed. Apart from this, CM Khattar announced the abolition of liquor shops in Haryana on January 22.
Rajasthan
There will be a holiday in the entire state and mostly in Rajasthan and it has been announced that there will be a holiday and all the government and private sectors will remain closed.
